Actually there was a book sold by Midrange Computing a while back called
the AS/400 Owners Manual or something like that. It covered just the topics
you mentioned, and was reasonably priced.  I always used to point
non-AS/400 folks to it as a starting point.  Saved me answering the same
questions over and over.
