No, not a safe guess.  If QBASE is the controlling system then all
interactive jobs and the console will be there.

I would follow the PC menus start/programs/client access/console (or
whatever it is on your installation) and see if you can establish
another session.  You cannot have more than one console session, so no
harm if it is already running.  You could have a normal interactive job
and the console running on the same device.



(Sorry if I haven't followed the whole saga and repeat something already
said).
