I don't know about the CA odbc link, but it's been my experience with CR
that thier odbc links are sometimes a little flaky.

There are a few utilities that you can download from the seagate support
web site that will test various odbc connections.  Also, they are
consistantly posting fixes for this or that problem that you can download.
Have you tried looking there?  They have a reasonably well represented
discussion group community from thier support pages as well.  You might get
some help there as well.

Unfortunately that didn't help.  Like I said, the confusing aspect is that
my VB apps using OLE DB connecting to the AS/400 are working fine.
