We have an old off maintenance version of Quadrant. We have been using it
for outbound faxing only. We use the forms overlay to fax out statements.
It has been flawless since day one. It is grossly over priced for what we
use it for which is why we are off maintenance. We first installed Fast Fax
on our F50 their support was great. When we upgraded to a 510, we had to
buy a RISC upgrade. Again support was great. Even when we were off
maintenance and I removed the unused DOS based PC Support, which our version
of Fast Fax uses, their support was great.

Subject: Fax Products on your 400

Hi everybody -

We are looking at installing fax services on our 400 boxes and we have ended
up with two options: one is Quadrant (software formerly by A-Com) and the
other Cornerstone. Quadrant is grossly more expensive featuring a $5000 per
year maintenance agreement! Cornerstone is cheaper but may not have all of
the software functionality that Quadrant appears to offer (form overlays,
for example). Has anyone out there gone down this path either with these two
or any other operations and if so, do you have any suggestions,
recommendations, product thoughts, things to watch out for when running the
faxing software...etc.
