I stand corrected.  after further review, It appears that I was talking out

if only NFL refs could as easily admit when they are wrong.

Are you SURE that this query is doing a sort.  Because I find it
counter-intelligent that it could display a page without reading all the
records
if you have specified a sort on a file without an usable index.
