RE: Proprietary Systems...

| Did anyone read the articles on HP dropping the the 3000 line?  In
| Computerweek last week it was mentioned that with the 3000 gone, the only
| ones left running proprietary o/s's were some Compaq one I've never heard
| of much....and the AS/400....

Just as a point of order, all those PCs running various versions of Microsoft
Windoze are, at least in my opinion, running proprietary o/s's, and I haven't
seen any signs yet of Microsoft going out of business or losing their
pseudo-monopoly powers!
