I have a question about overlays.

Let's say I have a spooled file that specifies
MYLIB/OVERLAY1 as the overlay.

Now, I use the QSPGETSP and QSPPUTSP APIs to create a
duplicate of this spooled file. On the create spooled file
API, I specify a new overlay, say MYLIB/OVERLAY2.

When I go and print this new spooled file, the old overlay
is used. But, the spooled file attributes do say that the
new overlay (OVERYLAY2) should be used.

Does anyone know why this happens? Is it similar to the
Print Text attribute that we specified earlier that is
"part" of the data stream and cannot be changed by simply
specifying a new value on the create spooled file API?

Thanks!

Brad
