QOLSEND API hangs

Hi!

I have an X25 API-based application. From time to time it hangs, when I
check the call stack I see that the alst entry is QOLSEND.

I know that in case of x'0000' operation this is a synchronous process, so I
suspect I don't get 'RR' back.

I am not an X25 expert, so could anyone explain me what could be the reason
of the hanging and how to avoid it?
