WOW! Would have never guessed that. Tried 3480 and, presto, there are all
of the tapes.

I'm not sure that I have all the data right, but PRTERRLOG lumps many
different types of "similar" (IBM's definition, not mine) together.  I
think that 3570 will show up under 3480 or 3490!

Maybe IBM would like to provide some clarification.

I am using the following command to display tape error information:

PRTERRLOG TYPE(*VOLSTAT) VOLTYPE(3570)

It is not showing any of the tapes that I am using. I use the following
command to init the tapes:

INZTAP     DEV(TAP01) NEWVOL(00501) CHECK(*NO)

Any ideas why the information does not show for my tapes?
