I think it applies most directly to UDB 7.something which isn't exactly the
version that's on the as/400.  But I've used it, and found it useful.

I have a book that I found very useful to get started - SQL/400 Developer's
Guide by Conte & Cravitz.  It's talks only about SQL on the 400, and
embedding it in RPG pgms.
