× The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.

Since you updated your domain info under CHGTCPDMN have you ended and
restarted all of the IP function? Ususally an IPL will pickup the new tcp
domain info so other function will start to use the correct DNS server.

Yes. In fact, I can do an NSLOOKUP from the AS400 and PING the IP address
from that. For example:

nslookup www.yahoo.com

ping '216.115.102.78'
Verifying connection to host system 216.115.102.78.
PING reply 1 from 216.115.102.78 took 410 ms. 256 bytes. TTL 241.
PING reply 2 from 216.115.102.78 took 328 ms. 256 bytes. TTL 241.
PING reply 3 from 216.115.102.78 took 298 ms. 256 bytes. TTL 241.
PING reply 4 from 216.115.102.78 took 353 ms. 256 bytes. TTL 241.
PING reply 5 from 216.115.102.78 took 266 ms. 256 bytes. TTL 241.
Round-trip (in milliseconds) min/avg/max = 266/331/410
Connection verification statistics: 5 of 5 successful (100 %).

But

ping www.yahoo.com
Unknown host, WWW.YAHOO.COM

Any other ideas?
