Re: IBM 4019 Laser Printer setup on the As400

After some research, I have solved my situation by using an IBM article at
SOFTWARE & DOWNLOADS page, under the topic "Configuring a Remote Output Queue
(RMTOUTQ)".  This is the link:

Thanks to Pat Barber and Lou Schmaus for their valuable help not only because
they answered back my request but also for giving me the necessary preliminary
tips that helped me start looking for the resolution of my task.

A fairly old printer, but one that is supported in a number of ways.

The question of the day is "How do you have it connected ???"

If it's connected to a 5250 terminal with basic emulation, that's
pretty straight forward.(create a devd and use HPT)

If it's connected to a pc running CA/400, that's pretty straight
forward.(create a devd and use HPT)

If it's connected via twinax, it will auto config with no problem.
