Yes, that would be assuming you were there when the incident happened.
I myself drink huge amounts of coffee, but I also am not on site 24 hours
a day.

I'm not sure "automatic" is the proper term, but each day I drink huge
amounts of coffee.  I wait as long as nature allows, and then I
head to the bathroom, but not before checking carefully for fires.
