SQL will do it for you. Follow the prompts for CREATE TABLE.... This is
the way IBM would like us to go these days. I gather that DDS is not
being developed any further.

Subject: How to create a jeyed file without DDS

Hello all,

In our effort to eliminate our S36 code, I was ask to develop a command
to replace the BLDFILE instruction. This command will do some extra
processing for us. My problem is the following: I have no problem
creating a sequential file without a DDS source member but I do not know
how to create a keyed file without a DDS source member. The CRTPF
command does not offer me the option to specify a key.

Any idea?

Thanks
