In DBU, press F4 to list fields, then tab/roll to the field & Upper Case
column, remove the 'X'. Now you should be able to enter mixed case.

Subject: lower case letters via DBU or DFU

Is there a way to enter data via DBU or DFU using lower case
letters. The field I need to change to make it more readable and it is 1000
chars long.
