STRDBG will allow the optimizer to send messages about  indexes in the
joblog.  An index (or more) can be used, or considered but not used: in

The SQL performance monitor has nothing to do with STRPFRMON.  It uses
STRDBMON in underground.  It will also give you info about the indexes
used.
