Nathan,

RSTDLO is only for document library objects stored in /QDLS, not the whole
IFS. You need the RST command. The object name will need to specify the
full path name. You can also use this command on QSYS objects if you really
want to, using the naming format
QSYS.LIB/libname.lib/filename.file/mbrname.mbr as the path.

Thanks

Hi,

I am not sure if I am doing this right.

I want to restore some files from the IFS.

The files can be seen when viewing the Root directory from Ops Nav.

The files are also stored in a directory that has 12 characters in it.

I am trying to use RSTDLO but it says the folder name must be in 8.3
format.

Am I using the right command? If so what do I need to change, if not, what
command should I be using?

We are running V4R5.

TIA.
