Hi Dan,

I wrote E-mail software on V3R2 a long, long time ago (in a distant
galaxy, far, far away) which didn't use the system's E-mail APIs, but
instead used sockets to talk directly to an SMTP server.

Consequently, I never learned how to set up the OS/400 E-mail capabilities
and never learned the various E-mail commands & APIs provided by IBM. :(

Still...  depending on what you're trying to do, this sort of thing might
be an option.   So.  What are you trying to do?
