Then again, for a lot of purposes, no significant LPPs beyond OS/400 are 
needed. MI, CL, REXX and UIM are included. APIs are included. QM works for 
database management. DDS can be compiled (although it's trouble to create 
without CODE/400 or green-screen SEU). For someone wanting to learn about 
AS/400s, it may be better to go without additional LPPs.
