This is a very OLD discussion that has been rehashed from a
financial stand point by any number of firms. The 400 wins
almost every time after the number of users goes past 10-15...

The biggest thing the economy system builders leave out, is the
number of people required to maintain those "cheap" server farms.

By the time you add up the software costs and throw in a few
"extra" support folks, the 400 leaves the "cheap computer" in
the dirt.... The added space and cooling is just more $$$ piled
on the big stack of requirements.
