It's impossible to flatly compare two boxes.  For what workload?  How many
users?  I don'[t know enough about a Netfinity procesor.

On the other hand, I do know an entry level AS/400 fully loaded is about
US$50-60K.  This will get you a model 270 with plenty of horsepower and all
the development tools.
