Maybe i was a bit misleading.

The chgmsgq cmd details are under F1(help)
here they describe the parms passed to the BreakPgm.

         Break handling attributes (PGM) - Help

o  Message queue name (10 characters).  The name of the
   message queue to which the message was sent.
o  Library name (10 characters).  The name of the library
   containing the message queue.
o  Message reference key (4 characters).  The reference

   key of the message sent to the message queue.

I just tried a CHGMSGQ command and don't see the option you mention.

I tried at V3R2 and V4R3.

Never tried this with a user msgq.  In the section where you would place
your
code, we have a plain old SNDMSG to echo the message to the lucky person on
call.
