I have a client that has had the same problem since going to V5R1. Except
it seems to "get better" if we kill *SMTP and MSF and then restart them. As
a work around I wrote a small pgm and stuck it in their JOBSCDE to end and
restart SMTP and MSF in the wee hours of the AM. If there is a PTF to fix
this, I'd like to know it too.

Subject: STMP CPU Usage on V5R1 system

Quite regularly we get excessive CPU usage by QTSMTPCLTP programs, two of
them running and using 70-90% of the CPU. Stopping and restarting SMTP
doesn't seem to help.

I noticed some PTF's for this at V4R4, etc., but nothing for V5R1. Has
anyone else had this problem, and if so, have you got it fixed?
