I need a solution for the same problem. I want/need to deconfigure my LAN
card so that Ops Console doesn't grab it every time I IPL. Right now, if I
need to IPL, I do it in a manual mode, go into DST, manually de-activate the
LAN Ops Console and select the Twinax console instead.

If I don't do this, then I cannot use the ethernet card for anything but Ops
Console when the IPL finishes.

I've yet to figure out a way to deactivate Ops Console on the LAN for good.
If anyone has any suggestions on this, they would be most appreciated!

Thanks,

Shannon O'Donnell
