Anybody have a clue as to what causes this error? When I try to View |
Cross Reference in the Code editor (win2k, ADTS version 3.2.3 with v323_fix
applied) I get an error message that says "Error: Unable to load JNI
runtime library. Ensure Java is installed correctly." I could swear it did
work at one point, but I've had to scratch-reload the system (thanks Bill,
for the easy hardware upgrade path provided by win2k).

My classpath is:

.;C:\JAVA\SWING~1.1FC\SWINGALL.JAR;C:\JAVA\JT400\LIB\JT400.JAR;C:\IBMDEBUG\LIB\DERTRJRT.JAR;C:\ADTSWIN\JAVA;C:\ADTSWIN\JAVA\CLASSES.JAR

I also tried it like this:

.;C:\IBMDEBUG\LIB\DERTRJRT.JAR;C:\ADTSWIN\JAVA;C:\ADTSWIN\JAVA\CLASSES.JAR;C:\JAVA\JDK11~1.8\LIB;C:\JAVA\SWING-~1.1FC\SWINGALL.JAR;C:\JAVA\JT400\LIB\JT400.JAR

but it didn't seem to make any difference.

I have JDK1.1.8 installed and it does seem to work (at least I can compile
and execute simple applications).

Javai.dll does exist in c:\java\jdk1.1.8\bin. It doesn't exist anywhere
else, it's not referenced in the registry, and it does not self register.

My path is set to

C:\IBMDEBUG\bin;C:\PROGRA~1\Borland\Delphi5\Projects\Bpl;C:\PROGRA~1\Borland\Delphi5\Bin;C:\WINNT\system32;C:\WINNT;C:\WINNT\System32\Wbem;C:\PROGRA~1\IBM\CLIENT~1;C:\PROGRA~1\IBM\CLIENT~1\Shared;C:\PROGRA~1\IBM\CLIENT~1\Emulator;C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\REAL\COMMON;c:\readibmw;C:\IMNNQ;C:\JAVA\JDK11~1.8\BIN;C:\adtswin;

The pathext variable is set to

.COM;.EXE;.BAT;.CMD;.VBS;.VBE;.JS;.JSE;.WSF;.WSH;.DLL

Any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated.
