Well, dang, yet another list to subscribe to. I guess we have to do our
best to avoid letting the general midrange-l people know about important
security issues. And I guess this will stop all the security 'clutter'?

What problem were we trying to solve by creating this new list? Was there
actually people complaining that they didn't want this security info on the
midrange-l list? Are there going to be people on the security list, but
not on the midrange-l list?

What is really fun is going on vacation next week and trying to change my
out-of-office to 20 some different filters. Normally I just unsubscribe
and resubscribe.

Hi Folks,

There is a new mailing list available at Midrange-L entitled
"Security400". The topic of the list is Security as it relates to IBM
Midrange Systems. This can include the S/34, S/36, S/38, AS/400 &
iSeries. Also open for discussion is Security as it relates to the
Internet and websites, etc. as this is relevant to anyone hosting a
website on an AS/400 or iSeries.

Additionally discussion of PC topics as they relate to Security and
Midrange Systems (ie. Emulation and connectivity products, etc.) is
fine.

To subscribe, send email to "security400-request@midrange.com" and put
the word "subscribe" on the subject line.

Thanks and look forward to your participation.
