My apologies, I don't object to your original post which is why I was 
responding to someone else's post rather than yours.

In any case, anyone who wants to create such a list can do so at any time. 
Simply go to yahoogroups.com or egroups.com or onelist.com or... hmmm... well, 
those are all equivalent more or less now, but alternatives exist.

Given issues of recent days with listserver replies such as "Undeliverable: 
server is full", by creating such lists elsewhere, THIS list will benefit.
