Jeff,

I guess the consensus is to use this list.  Most of the replies were about
having a gab list and a tech list, and not to splinter the tech list any
further.  I read the guidelines when I got them this month and they say only
if it relates to the as/400.  That is a bit gray but seems to imply pc
issues that midrangers encounter but aren't touching an as/400 wouldn't
qualify.  On the other hand, if you work in an as/400 shop you undoubtedly
have PC's and undoubtedly have PC software running on those PC's.  The PC's
probably support the work you do on the as/400 in some way.

I wouldn't object to the PC topics.  Even if the reply is a link to a PC
site, at least you've got something to try out.  And personal testimonials
would be invaluable.
