Bill Hi
There are qite a few companies, mine is one of them , that are enamored
with the Windoze world.
Small distributed cpu's are giving way to Internet based W2k clients,
connected to a central server solution...etc
This company is probably a manufacturing company, and would be well
advised to move in the direction of Iseries, as opposed to a totally new
solution.
Whatever change they make, they will require someone versed in Gui, and
networking, and will undoubtedly require additional training.
Perception is what rules, not common sense.
J.D Edwards has a good system, that runs on the present hardware,
        and is more Gui friendly.
