Phil,

The real problem is that I can not distinquish between a mutltiple session
user and a multiple terminal user. I haven't found the API that will give
me this information. We want to penalize (or count) the multiple terminal
user, but not the multiple session user. If you know of an API that will
do this, that would solve my problem.

We sell to many different users, some with other software packages and some
with only ours.
We cannot dictate the nameing conventions that they use for their terminals
so we need to do it all programatically with the system providing the
information.

Finding out that the users who has a multi-session terminal is the issue -
whether you choose to penalise them or count them as 'one user' is after
the
fact.

There are API's to retrieve this information, and would be part of the
program provided by Ron to count his 'users'
