I'm sort of popping off in the middle here but, couldn't you use the
Listjob API. Read through the API output and count unique user id's. You
could load them into an array or something like that to assure that they
weren't previously counted.

Thanks,

All it's saying when you signon twice (or more) is that your MSGQ has a
lock
already, and most likely from a previous signon. BUT, not necessarily as
IBM explains.

*****
Message . . . . : Message queue JHAAS is allocated to another job.

Cause . . . . . : If this message was received when trying to sign on,
the

most probable cause is that you are already signed on to another work

station. (A message queue can be placed in break or notify mode in only
one
job at a time.) The message queue could also have been allocated by the

Allocate Object (ALCOBJ) command or the Receive Message (RCVMSG) command.

I haven't been following this thread too carefully but how does the system
know when you are already signed on? Because when I log on multiple
sessions, the second one I get a message saying that I am already signed
on.
Couldn't you look at that, if there is a way?
