Sorry, I wasn't very clear.....

What they want to do is count each terminal in use. So if a user signs on
to a single terminal and starts 5 sessions (or whatever) he only counts
once. But if the user signs onto 5 different terminals, he gets counted 5
times. Yes, by person i mean user id.  This is only really a problem with
"dumb" terminals.
