Yes Rob

The ad I was referring to was for Trend Micro's Scan Mail for AS/400 &
Trend
micro ScanMail for Lotus Notes and various URLs but I see no mention on the

ad that seems specific to SMTP, but then I am no expert here. What
surprised
me is that they were talking about protection for AS/400 but their URL is
just their regular web site, nothing specific to AS/400.

From: rob@dekko.com

I use the Trend Micro for ScanMail. I am using their Domino virus package
on the 400. Was the ad for 400 Domino for 400 native mail? Not that I am
interested, I don't use native for inbound. However I just don't want to
confuse people that they have one for native 400 email, (unless they really
do).

Subject: Re: Sircam Virus and AS/400

In the latest August 2001 issue of News/400 which is getting so slim,
opposite the start of the article on V5R1 Security enhancements was an Ad
from Trend Micro for ScanMail for AS/400, claiming to have been the first
anti-virus solution for the AS/400. I imagine that even with AS/400 being
natively quite secure, whatever e-mail is put on it might have more in
common with MS fragility than good IBM engineering.
