The later versions of "M36" boxes were usually AS400 170 and had OS400 running.  They were not "pure" although many of my clients used them as if they were.  Leonard Hart

Well, you just shot down an ASSumption I made about M36 mode.  You can jump into native mode on a box running M36? 

What about the AS/36?  Again, I assume that was a "pure" M36 box.  Are you able to go native on an AS/36?
