  • Subject: Re: 5219/3812 *M36/iSeries outq issue

We are printing to a laser that can support 16.7. It is on the s36 that
only supports 10 and 15. However, it is the page width that is suspect.
Note newly discovered message:

                        Additional Message Information

Message ID . . . . . . : CPF3442
Date sent . . . . . . : 07/19/01 Time sent . . . . . . : 17:12:14

Message . . . . : Page width of file QPSPLPRT in QSYS not supported on
  device RWFF01P1.

Cause . . . . . : File ORDER number 1 job 159957/QUSER/QNURHMED held by
writer RWFF01P1 on output queue RWFF01P1 in QUSRSYS because the page width
of file QPSPLPRT in QSYS is not valid when the file is redirected to
device
RWFF01P1. The next file was processed.
Recovery . . . : If the page width is supported on another device on the
system, the file can be produced by a writer that is active to that
device.
To redirect spooled files to device RWFF01P1, change the page width on
file
  QPSPLPRT in library QSYS.

We changed the page width of not only QSYSPRT but also QPSPLPRT as suggested
in the above recovery and it still doesn't work.
