No, Microsoft are _required_ to stop shipping their JVM (after a
seven-year grace period) because they were found to be violating their
licence.  Sun took them to court over it.  I presume they're just doing
it early to save them the bother later (and to cause problems for any
Java users they can, of course) and putting a positive spin on it.

Which will force people to use a proper JVM.  Hooray!
