The problem, Steve, is that the only way to feel Windows 95 was innovative
was to compare it to Windows 3.1. Comparing it to other operating systems
showed it as behind the curve.

The only way to like Windows best is to not try anything else.

And I really don't want to get into a religous war over it. Windows
technology is now catching up (I believe) with where OS/2 stopped.

But the vast majority had only 3.1 to compare it with and so felt it was "a
big improvement."
