Nina, I feel this is exactly the issue. The one that took the market from
OS/2 and threatens the AS/400. PC users, and many computing professionals
using so very many products of today, just think that needing to reboot all
the time or having the server crash is all normal. They don't value a level
of reliability that they don't even know exists.

I can't tell you how many times I've heard, "My Windows x.x is _very_
reliable!" to be followed with the fact that it only needs to be rebooted
once or twice a day or whenever "such and such" happens. People just don't
get it. I try to compare with a pacemaker.

Would you consider your pacemaker to be reliable if it only stopped once or
twice a day? A week? Only when you accidentally mixed mustard with ketchup?

Well, your MIS systems are the pacemaker for your company. AS/400s have kept
companies running 24x7 since '88.
