I have a _real_ S/36, and 2 AS/400s (9402-C04, and a 170).  All have a 1/4" tape drive. I need to save a library from the S/36 and restore it to either of the 400's (I'd prefer the 170, but the old 9402 will do in a pinch).  Any ideas on tape density, etc?
the 4 gig tape drive cannot read from the system 36 tapes (which was standard issue on the 150) but the 2.5 gig can.
