Title: RE: NFS server errors; LOTS of DUMPs

Dan, this is a pain.  I’ve found no solution either.  It may not be your post that did it, though.  When replying, at least using Outlook, you can’t change the format.  You only have option of selecting the format when you create a new message.  I too have the “send using plain text” option selected for the mailing lists.  So when I select new message, it is by default text.  But if I reply to a message that is html, the reply will be html as well.

Outlook Express, in many ways, is better.  But I use the rest of Outlook – not just the e-mail client – so I haven’t switched back to Outlook Express and probably won’t.

Phil

>PLEASE TURN OFF HTML!

CR*P!  When I created the address book entry for the mailing lists, I specified to *NOT* send in microsoft Rich Text Format.  On another form, I selected "MIME-plain text".  The other options were:  "Plain text/UUEncode".  I see no options for HTML.  I'm using Outlook 97.  (Is that the bug?)

If someone knows how to turn this off so that I never send HTML to the list, please let me know!

Are *ALL* my posts arriving with HTML?  I ask because I've suspected that it may also be caused by the messages you reply to, and if they're HTML-coded, Outlook may ignore my preferences and do likewise with my reply.

Sorry for the mess!

Thanks, Chris!
I'm sure you meant no special authorities *beyond* what *USER gets, but does
this profile specify SPCAUT(*USRCLS) or SPCAUT(*NONE)?
