Look in your file types. I found Micro$oft Word and look at the print
option. Here is what I found for Office 2000 professional:

application used to perform actions:
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\WINWORD.EXE" /x /n

DDE:
[REM _DDE_Minimize][FileOpen("%1")][t=IsDocumentDirty()][FilePrint
0][SetDocumentDirty t][DocClose]

Application:
WinWord

DDE application not running:
[FileOpen("%1")][FilePrint 0][FileExit 2]

Subject: Officevision - slightly off topic again

Once again I'm trying to do something outside of Officevision since it's
going away.

I have converted a bunch of documents to Word format (.doc files). How
can I just print those on command without opening them for edit? I.E.
sort of a "batch" process. I've tried stuff like this from a DOS
prompt:

c:\progra~1\office\winword.exe /p
\\QDilgard\Root\Forms\Sysopr\ChecklistMonday.doc

but it only opens the item for edit. I've searched the help, the MS
online help, and MS knowledge base with no luck. I've installed the
Word Viewer and tried it. No luck. (It's interesting that the Word
Viewer has a command line switch /p that MS documents does not work.
But the knowledge base article does not say that it will or won't be
fixed. I ass-u-me not.)

This is Office 97, BTW. Does anyone know a way to do this?
