This is a contradiction in terms.

Knights and Baronets are "Sir", Baronets being hereditary titles

Then come Barons and Viscounts
They would be addressed as "Lord ...". But the proper form of address for a
Baron
is "Baron ..." and, for a Viscount, "The Right Hon. Viscount ... [of ....]"

Then come Earls, who are also addressed as "Lord ..." and whose form of address
is "The Right Hon. the Earl of ..." The wife of an Earl is a Countess.

Then come Marquesses, still addressed as "Lord ...", but whose form of address
is
"The Most Hon. the Marquess of ...".,, Their wives are Marchionesses.

Next come Dukes, addressed as "Your Grace", or informally "Duke", with the form
of address of "His Grace the Duke of ...". However if a Duke is the son or
grandson of a monarch, then, even though they are Dukes, they are addressed as
"Your Royal Highness".

The above simplified explanation shows conclusively that, since Earls cannot be
Dukes, the three Dukes of Earl will certainly be no longer because they are
not.

I hope that this makes it clear.
