Why not use WordPad? You can then reduce the size of the text, or change the
alignment of the paper.

Subject: Transferring Spool Files from AS400

I have a 156 byte spooled output that I want to move to a PC for emailing.
I've used a couple of options and both work but I can't print the report
once it's moved.

The Operations Navigator allows me to drag the spooled file to my PC and it
becomes a .TXT file. It keeps it's format but when I try to print it, it
chops of the report and word wraps.

The other method was I used the CPYSPLF command and copied the spool file to
a 156 byte length data file and then use Client Access to copy to the PC.
Basically, from here, the same results are gotten when attempting to print.

Is there a better way to do this with the tools I have.

What I'm really wanting to do is to get the spooled report to a format that
can be emailed and printed via our Lotus Notes Mail system residing on the
AS400. I don't know alot about Domino but I'm sure there's an easier way to
do what I'm trying to do.

thanks
