There was a recent discussion in one of the AS/400 Network newsletters that
may be of interest to this thread. Or it just might be that I know so little
about the subject that I am not being helpful.

TECH TIP: PRINT FORMATTING PROBLEMS
http://www.as400network.com/nwn/story.cfm?ID=10488
Q. We have a networked AS/400 printer that was originally attached
to a dumb terminal. A few months ago, we changed the setup and
attached it to a laptop. Since then, we've noticed a few oddities.

With absolutely no pattern or regularity, reports will print in very
large font, usually size 24 or larger. Because the reports print in
landscape, the right side of a report now prints onto another page.
Occasionally, reports will print in extremely small font (which are
sometimes the same reports that print in large font). Finally, items
that used to print as portrait from Word or e-mail now print as
landscape.

A. I assume you're using Client Access on the laptop. If so, try
using Host Print Transform, which is part of the setup on the Client
Access device. Doing so usually solves most printing problems.
