Fiona, do you really need XLS format ?
Is this is 'nt a mandatory requirement you may use FTP instead.
XLS limit is about 65000 rows.
IN order to convert 'on the fly' you may use '.DIF' format.
Sincerely

Oggetto: File transfer

Looking for ideas - one of our developers has promised to send a supplier
3 Excel files as e-mail attachments.

When he runs Client Access Data transfer From AS/400 To PC, it comes up
with an error window stating that the PC data file limit is 16,383
records.

The largest file has 284,895 records.

Any ideas ? We could split the files with CPYF, but is there a better way
to export files to the NT
server, converting them to Excel along the way ?

Thanks,
Fiona
