QUSLFLD. Midrange Computing published a command more than a few years back
that uses the API. Search the archives for DSPRCDFMT.

If anybody knows the name of the file field description API, I'd appreciate
it.  A good example would be even better.  Thanks!  In the meantime, I'll
wander through InfoCenter hoping to stumble upon it...
