Chris, what version of exchange are you running? You may need to allow the
exchange server to relay mail for the ip address of the as400.

You need a valid DNS or MX record for your AS400 or your mail server will
fail on validation of the AS400 mail server.  Some server are set to first
validate the sending server before accepting the connection.

I am sending e-mail from the 400 to an NT server in the same domain.  I can
send e-mail to everywhere else, but not to this box.  I get a non-delivery
message from the 400.  Does anyone have any tips on where to look for the
reason why the rejection is occuring?  I have a feeling the problem is NOT
on the 400, but with Exchange Server
