Hi Charly,

After reading the article, my guess would be that PLIC is backed up when the
primary partition is backed up. I say this because PLIC is a layer below
SLIC and is common to all partitions (PLIC = Partition Licensed Internal
Code), but is used/controlled by the hypervisor from the primary partition.
Since it's common to all, it seems like you'd want it backed up when no one
is using it.

On the other hand, I have no idea how disruptive it would be to PLIC to be
backed up by a secondary partition. Maybe it's not volatile and can easily
be copied to backup media without interfering with its use by other
parititions.
