I missed the beginning of this thread, but if someone is looking for an easy
way to run automated FTP, then I suggest using MS-DOS FTP client and a good
scheduler.  Windows 9x has one built in, but NT does not.  But, there is a
very good one for NT called JIT Scheduler (will also work for Windows 9x as
well).  It works very good and is easy to set up.

If you're going from the AS/400 to another server, well, then CL is the way
to go and JOBSCDE.  :)

I use this for a lot of projects.  Mainly because it's easy, works 99.9999%
of the time, and DOS is alway easy to build dynamic FTP scripts.
