RE: Syslog Server

I don't know what a syslog server is, but if it's a UNIX utility, maybe you
could get one for AIX and run it in PASE under OS/400.

I was under the impression syslog was UNIX functionality. I presume you're
asking for message filtering (*.error, *.kern, *.crit) then you'd probably
need to map all those message IDs to a filter type. Not pretty....

Does anyone have or no where to find a SYSLOG Server for the AS400?  What
about for windows 98/NT/2000?  I perfer to have it based on the AS400.  We
are at 4.4 soon to be at 4.5 (Just ordered the upgrade and can not wait.)
